This Full Moon is all about:
- Work / Life Balance – how balanced are these two area’s of your life? What needs to be transformed? Are you working too hard and not have enough fun? Do you need to have a work / life balance reset?
- Love Triumphs – in the end, love is all that really matters! As quoted by Senator Paul Tsongas, ‘nobody on their deathbed has ever said, “I wish I had spent more time at the office”‘.
- Letting Go – relax, unwind, rest, repair and enjoy some time with yourself, your family and your friends.
- Gentle Words – be gentle on yourself and others, choose kind, nurturing and empowering words to help you elevate in your life.
- Facing Facts – take stock of your life and where you are in your life. Are you willing to accept your life? Are you brave enough to make the changes that you want to make to bring you more towards your actual realisation?
During a Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are at opposite sides of the sky. With this Full Moon in Capricorn, the Sun is in the sign of Cancer and the Moon is in the sign of Capricorn, creating a tug of war effect or opposition in the two signs.
This is what makes this Full Moon a wonderful opportunity to reset your work / life balance. Cancer energies are very much associated with home-life, family, childhood, nurturing, looking after ourselves. Whereas, Capricorn energies are associated with high achieving, being ambitious, practical and attention focused.

- Breathwork/Pranayama: Connect with the rhythm of your breath and the natural cycles of the moon through gentle breathwork exercises. Dive deep into your inner landscape, releasing tension and inviting calmness and clarity into your being.
- Forgiveness & Release Ritual: Release old wounds and emotional baggage as you participate in a powerful forgiveness ritual. Through guided meditation and intention setting, you’ll gently let go of resentments and open your heart to healing and reconciliation.
- Journaling, Self-Reflection: Begin your exploration by delving into the depths of your inner world through reflective journaling prompts guided by the luminous light of the full moon. Allow your thoughts and emotions to flow freely onto the pages as you cultivate self-awareness and insight.
- Full Moon Hypnotherapy Healing: This transformative practice combines the power of hypnotherapy with the mystical influence of lunar cycles. Here, you are guided into a deep state of relaxation and receptivity, where you can access your subconscious minds with heightened clarity and insight. The full moon serves as a catalyst for releasing old patterns, beliefs, and emotions that no longer serve their highest good, while also amplifying intentions for healing, growth, and transformation. - Closing Circle: Conclude our Full Moon Healing Circle with a Closing Circle, where we come together as a community or Sangha to share our experiences, insights, and intentions for the Lunar Cycle ahead. Bask in the collective energy of love, connection, and transformation.

Welcome to a transformative journey of self-discovery and well-being with Leona McDonnell, a dedicated therapist and holistic wellness practitioner. With a profound love for nature and a passion for guiding individuals toward holistic healing, Leona combines her expertise in mindfulness, meditation, clinical hypnotherapy, clinical psychotherapy, life coaching, yoga and Tera Mai Reiki II with the healing inspiration of the natural world.
Leona is a compassionate and skilled therapist with a private clinical practice, committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience. With a background in clinical psychotherapy, certification as an IMMA Internationally Accredited Mindfulness Rooted Ecotherapy Practitioner, an IMMA Internationally Accredited Creative Mindfulness for Children Practitioner, a 200hr Himalaya Yoga Valley Teacher (trained from the source of Yoga in India) and a Tera Mai Reiki II Practitioner, Leona brings a unique blend of Western psychology, Eastern holistic practices, and nature-based healing to her sessions.
Leona believes in a holistic approach to well-being, acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and nature. Her therapeutic sessions are grounded in empathy, respect, and a commitment to empowering individuals to unlock their full potential.
