I am delighted to bring to you my Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Birth Preparation programme! I am at present living this programme every day during my own pregnancy and am delighted to be able to share with you the Mindful and Self Compassion tips, tools and techniques that are helping me to remain positive, calm, energised and focused during my own pregnancy.
What will the Programme consist of?
Each week over a 5 week period, I will deliver my programme to you virtually for 1.25hrs. I have devised my programme as follows:
Week 1:
- Introduction to Mindfulness
- How to practice Mindfulness
- Why Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Birth preparation
- Breathing Practice
- Meditation Practice
Week2:
- Using Mindfulness to cultivate calm and focus during Pregnancy and Birth preparation
- Releasing fear during Pregnancy and Birth preparation
- Breathing Practice
- Meditation Practice
Week 3:
- Using Mindfulness to reduce stress and anxiety during Pregnancy and Birth preparation
- Building Resilience for coping with the unexpected in Pregnancy and Childbirth
- Breathing Practice
- Meditation Practice
Week 4:
- Self Compassion during Pregnancy and Birth preparation
- Why Self Compassion, How to practice Self Compassion
- Importance of rest, diet, exercise and taking time out for repair and recovery
- Breathing Practice
- Meditation Practice
Week 5:
- Positive Affirmations during Pregnancy and Birth preparation
- Cultivating a belief in our body and it’s ability to birth (whatever type of delivery unfolds)
- Importance of positive mind body relationship
- Breathing Practice
- Meditation Practice
When is this programme starting?
This programme will be delivered via a Private Facebook Group for 5 weeks from 8.00pm to 9.15pm starting on Monday, 28th Sept 2020 and finishing on Monday 26th October 2020.
This method of delivery means that you can see me but you won’t be able to see any additional participants. I have chosen this method of delivery to protect the privacy of participants as there may be people joining the programme at various stages of their pregnancies and may be experiencing very different mental, emotional and physical symptoms in their pregnancies.
There will be the option each week to ask questions via the comments feature in the group or you can privately email or message me on Facebook at any time with any questions or queries.
How do I join this programme?
To join this programme, all you have to do is to click on the ‘Enroll’ button on the programme link. Here you can register your name and email address. You can also choose to purchase the programme through the secure Paypal platform or you can use your Visa Debit/Credit Card. You don’t have to have a Paypal account set-up in advance of purchase.
What happens after I register for the programme?
Once you have registered your details and purchased the programme, I will personally email you to welcome you to the programme and with the virtual link to the Private Facebook Group to access the programme.
Will there be any supportive materials or meditations that I will have access to?
Each week, I will email you downloadable links to any supportive materials I think are relevant and also to my guided meditations that I use in each programme element.
